ILM Academy Building Fund
The Building Fund has been established to collect funds to help purchase a building for the school. In order to do so, we need to raise a significant amount of funds in a short period of time! With the blessings of Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala and your strong support, we can do this together! Please donate generously and become a part establishing ILM Academy as a permanent community organization!
Funds managed by Trustees
In keeping with principles of good governance (openness, transparency and accountability), ILM Academy's governing board has established a trustee committee to oversee the collection, management and disbursement of these funds. The purpose of this committee is to ensure that funds collected for the purpose of a school building are held in trust (Amana) and used only for this purpose. In addition to members of ILM Academy's board, Br. Aziz Dhanani and Br. Ali Katoot have graciously agreed to serve on this committee to provide community oversight. Here are their brief profiles:
Br. Aziz Dhanani serves on the board of the Al-Farooq organization and is the current director of Masjid Omar bin Abdul Aziz. He is a long time resident of Norcross, GA and is a business man by profession.
Br. Ali Katoot has successfully served on the facility acquiring committees of several area Masajid with the latest being the Islamic Center of Duluth and Masjid At-Tawheed. He is a resident of Johns Creek, GA and is a business man in real estate.
