My Name is Anamta Javaid. I joined ILM Academy in August 2023 as a High School precalculus and Algebra teacher and middle school math interventionist. I have a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from COMSATS Institute of Technology, Islamabad, and a Master's in Teaching Mathematics from UGA. I also hold a Georgia Educator Certificate.

I am an enthusiastic educationist who recognizes individual students' unique needs to enhance learning and promote confidence. My expertise lies in designing custom lesson plans and activities tailored to student needs. I also plan formative and summative assessments to assess students' weak areas and identify knowledge gaps.

I love being outdoors and spending holidays at the beach with my family. My hobbies include baking and reading. If I am not busy making lesson plans and researching engaging classroom activities, you will find me indulging in the wizarding world of Harry Potter for the 100th time.

Mufti Ahmad Jafari currently leads the Islamic Studies and the Hifdh department at ILM Academy. Mufti Jafari was born in Miami, Florida, and moved to Atlanta, Georgia, at an early age. He began his Islamic studies by memorizing the Quran in 2001, which he finished in 2004. With a desire for a deeper understanding of the Quran, he enrolled in the ‘Aalimiyyah program at Darul Uloom Al-Madania (Buffalo, New York) in 2006 and studied Arabic syntax and grammar while also studying Aqeedah, Usul ul Fiqh, and Usul ul Hadith & Tafseer. Mufti Ahmad then went to Darul Uloom, Canada (Chatham-Kent), for a Master in Theology and Transmission of Hadith.
In 2012, Mufti Ahmad returned to Atlanta to serve as an Imam. After serving the community for three years, his passion for knowledge drove him to travel to Durban, South Africa, to specialize in giving legal religious verdicts and jurisprudence under Mufti Ebrahim Desai at the prestigious Darul Iftaa Al-Mahmudiyyah (askimam.org). Mufti Ahmad also travels throughout the Southeast to deliver Jumu’ah khutbahs and halaqahs, lead youth initiatives, and bring awareness to revitalize the efforts of our Deen.
