Abdullah Jaber

Abdullah Jaber currently serves as a resident scholar for the central Masjid of Atlanta, Al-Farooq Masjid and also Masjid Omar bin Abdul Aziz. He is a board member of FAMA (Faith Alliance of Metro Atlanta) and ASHA (Atlanta South Asian Health Alliance).  He is also a co-founder of MYLA (Muslim Youth of Los Angeles). Currently, he is focused on building the Revival, a branch of MYLA, which aims to enrich and empower lives of individuals and communities by providing services that physically, emotionally, and spiritually strengthen them through faith, education, and activism.

Dana Salim

Dana Salim and her husband, Hamzah Khalaf, founded DS Publishing, LLC in August, 2016. Their aim is to provide children with products that instill confidence and promote diversity, acceptance and confidence in one's self and dreams. She is the creative author of "Dreamland with Mommy" and "Beautifully Different"; two titles of the book series, "Yousuf's Everyday Adventures.” Dana has a degree in Industrial engineering from the University of Jordan, and now resides in McAllen, Texas.

Haris Ali

Haris Ali currently serves as the Assistant Imam and Youth Director at the Islamic Society of Greater Oklahoma City as well as the Islamic Society of Norman in Oklahoma. Born in Fairfax, Virginia, he began his journey of community involvement and studying Islam under various scholars in 2007 while pursuing his Bachelor's Degree in Applied Information Technology at George Mason University (GMU). He holds an Associate's Degree and is completing his Bachelor's Degree in Islamic Studies from Mishkah University. After serving as the President of the GMU MSA, he became the Youth Director and a regular Khateeb for multiple communities across Virginia, California, and now Oklahoma.

Hootan Afzali

Hootan Afzali is the founder of DeenFit.com. DeenFit is an organization that focuses on developing curriculum and Islamic education. The organization hosts activities which engage and educate the youth, in a fun, relevant, "out-of-the-box" and practical way.

His interactive 'Experience' presentations have allowed him to continue working with multiple youth groups, schools and masjids for over 15 years, providing various workshops from practical Hajj tips workshop, Character building, Youth leadership, to those aimed at parents and students about the dangers of social media,.Other workshops include Crush Bullying, Violence prevention,physical confrontation and management workshops. He has dedicated himself to helping teens and pre-teens navigate their way through the modern world with Islam as their guide.

He has worked in the IT field for the past 15 years and is currently working as a Software Quality Engineer in the Bay Area. He continues to peruse his personal development and Deen development (working to memorize the Quran) and implements the professional skills he acquires to enhance the programs and workshops he can offer the community at large.

Mohammed Hannini

Mohammed Hannini has a Bachelors in Islamic History and is a Masters Candidate in Islamic Studies - Fiqh. He is a founder of An-Nahdah Institute for Islamic Studies. He has extensive experience working with Muslim communities in the US, especially with school and college going youth via several platforms such as MIST, MSA, etc. He currently serves as the Director of Islamic Studies, and Sunday School, Khateeb, and acting Imam at Muslim Society of Jersey Shore.

Nihal Khan

Imam Nihal Ahmad Khan is a recent graduate of Nadwatul ‘Ulama in Lucknow, India. He completed a comprehensive program in the Islamic sciences and graduated with an alimiyyah degree in 2017. He was born and raised in New Jersey and holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a minor in Business from Montclair State University. He also hold’s a diploma in Arabic from the first class of Bayyinah Institute’s Dream Program.
Before going overseas, Imam Nihal began memorizing the Qur’an at Darul Uloom New York and finished at the age of seventeen at the Saut al-Furqan Academy in Teaneck, New Jersey. He has been leading taraweeh for over ten years. He continued studying fiqh and Arabic privately in New Jersey and New York during his undergraduate studies.
Along with his education, Nihal has worked in various capacities in the New Jersey and New York Muslim community as an assistant Imam, youth director, khateeb, MSA board member, and a Muslim Chaplain. Imam Nihal is also an MA candidate in Islamic Studies at the Hartford Seminary in Connecticut.

As of recent, Imam Nihal is the new Imam at the West Cobb Islamic Center (Masjid al-Furqan) in Marietta, Georgia.
