Position: Office Administrator
Reports to: Governing Board
Position description: The Office Administrator is responsible for all non-instructional school administrative needs.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Financial - Accounting/book keeping, staff payroll, reimbursements, financial reports, assistance with budgets and forecasts, feasibility analysis.
- Research, recommend, implement, document procedures and processes.
- Record keeping, audit
- Fulfilling HR needs of staff.
- Servicing customers - parents, volunteers, community members.
- School Administration - Share responsibility of all non-education related aspects of school administration.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Governing Board.
Required Qualifications:
- A willingness to share and portray Islamic mannerisms and way of living including modest Islamic dress code
- Proven experience as an effective Administrator. School Administration experience is a definite plus.
- Bachelors Degree. US degree preferred.
- Proven track record in providing excellent customer service
- Very strong organizational, communication and inter-personal skills
- Possesses effective conflict management skills.
- Strong experience with MS Office or equivalent - especially Word Processing and Spreadsheets.
- Strong computer skills - internet use, internet research, email, touch typing, desktop publishing.
- Excellent English Language skills - writing, speech, comprehension, reading.
- Ability to work independently with little direct supervision
- Accept responsibility and is self-motivated.
- Demonstrates strong work ethic in order to achieve team and individual goals
- Displays effective multi-tasking and time management skills
- CPR and First Aid Training a plus
- Knowledge of Early Childhood Education a plus
- Experience with school administration a plus.
Start Date: Immediate
Salary:
Paid Hourly. The rate depends on qualifications.
