Safia Zorba Lead Quran Instructor

Safia is a graduate of the Damascus University with a degree from the college of Shariah. Safia, who has taught Islamic Studies at various Damascus public schools has also taught basic foundations of the Arabic language along with Quran reading and memorization to Muslim children of various age groups within the Atlanta community. Safia brings this collective experience with her to ILM Academy's after school program.
Basmah Awad Quran Instructor

Basmah is a graduate of Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston with a bachelor’s degree in Architecture Engineering Technology. Basmah is also CPR and AED certified. Her extensive experience in architectural design has allowed her to develop exceptional organizational skills along with the ability to work well in a team oriented environment. Basmah implements her education and skills toward educating children. Along with teaching Quraan Reading classes as part of ILM Academy’s after school program, Basmah is currently enrolled in a Tajweed course and is also involved in teaching Quraan reading and memorization to Muslim children of various age groups within the Atlanta community.
